EPSA work

How EPSA works

The European Platform of Self-Advocates meets at least once every year.
Every 2 years, there is a General Meeting where all members meet to decide on important issues.
For example, to agree on a work plan or elect members of the Steering Group.

Every 2 years, EPSA organises a conference for self-advocates.You can read messages from EPSA conferences here:

The Steering Group of 5 self-advocates runs EPSA.
The members of this group meet several times a year.
They work with help of a Self-Advocacy Officer to implement the work-plan

The members of the Steering Group are:

  • Senada Halilcevic, from ASA, the Association of Self-Advocacy, Croatia
Senada is also the Chair of EPSA and Vice-President of Inclusion Europe.
  • Harry Roche, from Mencap, United Kingdom
  • Luminiţa Căldăraş, from Pentru Voi, Romania
  • Elisabeta Moldovan, from Ceva de Spus, Romania

Each year, EPSA writes a report to inform about its activities.
